Gameloft has recently announced Asphalt Legends Unite, an expansion to the popular arcade racing game Asphalt 9: Legends. This expansion will mark the debut of the Asphalt series on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and it is set to be released on July 17, 2024. Asphalt 9: Legends is already available on various platforms such as the App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, Steam, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

Asphalt Legends Unite brings an exciting cross-platform adventure to both PS4 and PS5 players, offering a seamless gaming experience across different platforms. Along with an enhanced graphic engine, the game introduces a fresh and modern art direction exclusively designed for console players. The garage has been reimagined to ensure that players can continue their progress and access previously unlocked vehicles, while the user interface has been given a complete makeover for more intuitive and immersive gameplay.

Gameloft is also working on incorporating social features and customization options into the game. Ignacio Marin, the game manager, expressed the company’s commitment to expanding the game and providing players with the ultimate Asphalt experience. Gameloft plans to release a roadmap soon, giving players a glimpse into the future of the Asphalt series.

This announcement comes at a busy time for Gameloft, as they have recently developed and released Disney Dreamlight Valley and are currently working on a Dungeons & Dragons survival role-playing game life sim.
